Baby room went for a stroll to see the ducks last Friday at Eagle pond, the babies loved watching all the different types of birds from swans, duck and pigeons. They even brought them some bread to feed them but ended up eating all themselves!
working with the EYFS framework - Understanding the world the babies were able to explore animals and see them in their habitats, the babies were able also able to explore different sounds of outdoor life from the ducks to different transport vehicles.
Pre-school went on the same trip as babies but was able to explore a little bit of the forest as well! They loved hopping on bus ride to Eagle pond to see the birds and feed them some bread and be around nature.
Pre-school worked on their understanding of the world, physical development and mathematics. They counted birds, compared sizes, explored sounds and animals and walked back to nursery.
